Young Horticulturalist of the Year


Ravensdown supported the establishment of this event as a sponsor in 2005. The contest goes through a series of regional events for each of the sections and the grand final is at the Ellerslie Flower Show.

The aim of the competition is to inspire and acknowledge the talents of the young people employed in the horticultural industry and Ravensdown sponsors the fruit and vegetable growers and viticulture sections.
