Adjuvants

An adjuvant is any substance without any significant pesticidal properties that is either part of a formulation or is added to the spray tank, that enhances or is intended to enhance the effectiveness of a specific product(s) when added. The level of enhancing can vary depending on the adjuvant and their uses can range from drift control through to penetration of the leaf cuticle and extend out to adjuvants such as dyes or foam markers that aid accurate application.

There are hundreds of Adjuvants available in the New Zealand Market so Ravensdown have put together a group of the 5 most reputable and effective adjuvants to complement their range of Fungicides, Herbicides and Insecticides.
