Physical Description:
Contains 100g/litre haloxyfop [R-isomer] as the methyl ester and 347g/litre diethylene glycol in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate.

Uses:
A selective herbicide for control of grass weeds in certain broadleaf crops, forestry, orchards, nurseries, non-crop areas and white clover. VALIANT may be used in mixture with Ravensdown Atrazine 90DF, Simaflo, Terbaflo and Multiple.
Benefits:
VALIANT is taken up by the foliage and translocates to all parts of the target plant. Growth ceases almost immediately but symptoms are slow to appear, with plant death taking up to 4 weeks. Valiant will control annual grasses such as poa annual and a range of perennial grasses such as couch, cocksfoot paspalum and perennial ryegrass.
Application:
VALIANT may be applied using conventional ground or aerial equipment. If mixing with other chemicals they should be added before Valiant.
Mode of Action:
A systemic herbicide which is rapidly absorbed by foliage and translocated to the meristematic tissue where it inhibits growth and eventual causes the plant to die.
Environmental Fate:
Broken down by microbial degradation, with a soil half life of 24 hours.
Rainfall:
VALIANT is rain fast one hour post application.
Additional Information:
Use VALIANT with a spraying oil such as COLLABORATE to optimise grass weed control. Add Collaborate at 500ml per 100lt water. DO NOT use spray oil when applying to peas, lentils, nursery plants and when used in mixture with Multiple and Terbaflo.
CAUTION:
DO NOT plant cereals, maize or grass crops within 12 weeks of treatment. To avoid subsequent injury to sensitive crops, immediately after spraying thoroughly remove all traces of VALIANT from mixing and spraying equipment. DO NOT use chlorine based cleaners.
