Uses:
STARTER DRENCH™ is an animal remedy (energy, calcium and magnesium supplement) used to boost energy and prevent metabolic disease in dairy cows by oral drenching (or via addition to supplementary feed) immediately after calving.
Benefits:
STARTER DRENCH™ is a cost-effective product that helps you maintain adequate energy, calcium and magnesium levels in your dairy cows immediately after calving. It is a flowable (even at low temperatures) liquid drench containing 200g/l monopropylene glycol (MPG), 150 g/l molasses, 100g/l (GE-free) soya oil, 12.5g/l elemental magnesium (as magnesium oxide) and 60g/l elemental calcium (as precipitated calcium carbonate). It provides 8 MJ ME per litre.
Application:
STARTER DRENCH™ is designed to be administered to cows usually by a single oral drench or via addition to supplementary feed. The dose rate is 1 litre/cow as soon as practical after calving. Additional doses of 0.5 - 1 litre per cow per day may be given for up to 4 days.
Do not exceed 3 litres per cow per day. Because this product contains calcium, do not administer before calving except under veterinary advice.
Meat and milk withholding periods: NIL.
Storage & Handling:
Store in a cool, dry covered facility, and ensure that the container is closed properly after use.
