Physical Description:

Ben Guerir RPR is a fine sandy material of brownish colour, sourced from Morocco.

Uses:

Used for Pastoral Topdressings, Organic Farming, and Conventional Sheep & Beef.

Benefits:

Slow release phosphate fertiliser (a preferred source of P for certified organic production). Breaks down under acid soil conditions to release phosphate to the soil over a number of years, which is enhanced in the presence of soil moisture. Ideally soil pH should be less than 6.0.

Application:

Typically applied at rates of 100 to 300 kg/ha. RPR is safely mixed with elemental S, dolomite or magnesium oxide. Due to its fine sandy nature, dust and drift can be a problem when spreading this product.

Caution: Care is required when spreading this product, as dust and drift may occur due to its fine, sandy nature.

Storage & Handling:

As with most solid fertilisers, RPR can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.
