Potassium Iodate

Physical Description:

Potassium Iodate comes in the form of a white powder.


Uses:

An iodine based product used as a fertiliser additive to raise herbage iodine levels. Please note; iodine application in the fertiliser is not a very effective method for administering iodine to the grazing animals as it only marginally raising herbage iodine levels.


Application:

Apply with fertiliser at a rate of 4.3kg/ha.


Storage & Handling:

Store in a cool, dry covered facility, away from direct sunlight, and ensure that the bag is closed properly after use. All iodine based products are unstable, particularly in humid and/or sunny conditions.
