​Ravensdown CEO Rodney Green (below left) recently opened our new Customer Centre at the Awatoto fertiliser works, near Napier.

The significant renovation was part of a $14.5m investment in Awatoto. Ravensdown has two Customer Centres; one in Christchurch and one at Awatoto. The Awatoto Customer Centre was set up a number of years ago to ensure we had disaster recovery options in case of an emergency and came into its own following the Canterbury earthquakes.

Both Centres take around 210,000 calls a year from our farmer shareholders in New Zealand and Australia. The new Customer Centre has space for 32 staff - and currently employs 20.
