Spreading FBT was formed in June 2004 when Ravensdown partnered with Freight and Bulk Transport to create Spreading FBT. The main operation is based in New Plymouth with a hub store in Inglewood and Okato.
There are three spreaders based at Okato, three in New Plymouth, three in Inglewood and one based out of the Ravensdown Stratford Store.
All of Spreading FBT’s spreading fleet has the Ravensdown Spreading technology fitted and a number of the trucks have blowers fitted for the steeper country around the mountain.
Spreading FBT service the areas from Opunake and Stratford in the south, through to Urenui in the north.
