Straight Furrow - A Special Publication Celebrating Seventy Years

1978: Ravensdown Fertiliser Co-operative is launched.

1979: Sales reach 354,671 tonnes.

1987: Ravensdown becomes a 100% farmer owned co-operative with the purchase of the remaining shares from FERNZ. East  Coast fertiliser merges with Ravensdown.

1998: Record sales of just over 1 million tonnes.

2000: ARL becomes 100% owned by Ravensdown.

2001: Ravensdown Direct is launched; customers can now purchase directly from their co-operative. Ravensdown enters the animal health market

2003: Ravensdown launches its agrochemical range.​

2004: Ravensdown launches eco-n, the ground breaking nitrification inhibitor.

2005: Ravensdown launches its anthelmintic range. Wanganui Aero Work is purchased.

2006: Loyalty Rewards are introduced for loyal shareholders.

2008: Ravendsown expands into Western Australia becoming a trans-Tasman co-operative.

2008: Ravensdown becomes New Zealand's largest spreading company.

2009: Ravensdown expands into Queensland.

2010: ARL expands services into Western Australia and Queensland.
