| Timeframe |
How Long Plants should be actively growing and free of stress with clean foliage at time of spraying.
The effects of Ravensdown Glyphosate 360 may not be apparent for 3-7 days depending on weather conditions, weed species and the herbicide rate used. Some perennial weeds may not show effects for 14-21 days.
Accelerate Penetrant may be used with Glyphosate 360 to increase the rate of uptake on certain weeds (refer label for details).
|
| Plant back withholding |
Plant Withholding Glyphosate has no soil activity; crops can be planted immediately after spraying.
|
| Stock withholding |
Stock Withholding Annual weeds can be grazed within 3 days of application and 5 days is preferred for perennial species. Situations containing poisonous plants such as ragwort should not be grazed until the plants have died down
|
| Barriers to effectiveness |
Barriers Rainfall
Rain within 6 hours following application may reduce the effectiveness. The addition of an organo-silicone penetrant such as Accelerate will reduce the critical rain-free period.

A broad spectrum, non-selective herbicide used in a wide range of situations
Extremely useful pre-cultivation to eliminate competition when establishing a crop or new pasture
Also used for general weed control around sheds, fence lines, races, drains and many other situations
A very cost effective non selective herbicide that can be used in a variety of situations.
For pasture renewal, it helps eliminate the resident weed populations resulting in a cleaner seedbed, better plant establishment as well as saving valuable tractor hours and diesel.
Allows for faster turnaround times for direct drilling and cultivation whilst saving valuable time. It is also very useful as a moisture conservation tool.
Being non selective it makes it ideal for most total vegetation control programmes from fence lines to industrial yards.
