Plant back

Where susceptible species such as Brassica's & Clovers are to be planted, it is advised not to sow for up to 28 days following application. Even then it is best to sow a small area first to ensure that the residues have dispersed.

Stock

Poisonous plants may become more palatable after spraying, and livestock should be kept out until plants have died down.  For animal safety reasons, do not graze treated pasture for 2 weeks after application.

Benefits of Pasture Guard® 2,4-D 680

Ideal for autumn and winter weed control programmes in pasture

Effective on a wide range of broadleaf weeds

Can be tank mixed with Multiple for larger, hardier thistles or where resistance is suspected

Pasture Guard 2,4-D 680 controls most broadleaf weed species in established pasture, some crops and non cropland areas.

Arable farmers will often use Pasture Guard 2,4-D 680 during the winter over established white clover seed crops for broadleaf weed control.

Performs more consistently when the soil temperature is declining. ie. late autumn & winter.

Pasture Guard 2,4-D 680 has a very wide broadleaf weed spectrum which is ideal for established pasture.

The most popular herbicide for control of seedling or rosette ragwort and nodding, scotch, winged and variegated thistles in established pasture

Has the ability to check clovers, however by using the product when growth is slow and the clovers are moving into dormancy this check can be drastically reduced.
