How pricing works
Long lasting residual herbicide with no knockdown of established weeds
Has no effect on established plants
Useful for amenity areas, tracks and situations where a long lasting residual herbicide is required
Chemical Group Triazine
Soil half life varies from 27-102 days and soil residues can harm subsequent crops, such as tomatoes, cucurbits, lettuce, beetroot and dwarf beans. Do not plant crops other than those recommended for treatment without first sowing an indicator plant such as radishes. Plough thoroughly and cross cultivate the area before sowing crops.
There is no grazing withholding period on the label. Good agricultural practice would suggest not grazing treated plants for 10-14 days after application, to give the product time to be taken up into the weeds. Beware of toxic plants that may become more palatable to stock.
As Simaflo is root absorbed by germinating seedling weeds, rain is needed to move the chemical into the soil.
