Benefits of Ravensdown 12-10-10

The only compound fertiliser that has been developed specifically for New Zealand

Used extensively in maize, sweet corn, potatoes, onions, squash and fresh market vegetables

Has a near neutral effect on the soil pH, which is important when banding the product

Contains a full range of trace elements as well as magnesium and calcium

Contains both forms of nitrogen; nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen

Ravensdown 12-10-10 has the chemical composition of  a high-grade compound fertiliser with plant available nutrients in every granule. This means there is no nutrient segregation producing a more even crop with better yields. Ravensdown 12-10-10 contains a full range of trace elements (Iron 2100ppm, Zinc 70ppm, Copper 19ppm, Manganese 110ppm) as well as magnesium and calcium. It also contains both forms of nitrogen; nitrate nitrogen (4.0%) and ammonium nitrogen (8.0%). The nitrate nitrogen is ideal for crops grown in cooler soil temperatures. The high phosphate to nitrogen ratio encourages early root growth making it an ideal starter fertiliser. Ravensdown 12-10-10 has a near neutral effect on the soil pH, which is particularly important when banding the product. It has a very high granule integrity and strength, and is dust free making it a hassle free fertiliser for precision fertiliser and seed drilling operations.
