As with Track Rock, Track Rock Dressing Grade has cementing properties under compaction, forming a solid, smooth and stable race surface. It is softer than blue metals, rotten rock and river gravels. Track Rock is soft and gentle on hooves, with no sharp edges. It contains calcium, essential for healthy hooves. Track Rock Dressing Grade can be used to top up and refurbish existing Track Rock tracks without having to totally reconstruct the track from new.

Uses

Track Rock Dressing Grade is a smaller product than normal Track Rock size typically is a 25-30mm all in product.  It used principally for the maintenance (toping up) of tracks and roads formed from Track Rock. Its major use is currently in refurbishing dairy tracks. Other uses include refurbishing all weather airstrips, silage pits, boggy water troughs, gateways and stand off pads.
