Barriers Rainfall
Light rainfall after application may benefit results, although significant rainfall within 3 hours of treatment may reduce contact activity when used in a post - emergence situation.
Some fathen plants may be resistant to atrazine products, an alternative post emergence herbicide such as dicamba may be necessary to control them.

Residual herbicide to control some annual grasses and many broadleaf weeds
Used extensively as a pre and post-emergence herbicide in maize crops
Used in established (12 month+) lucerne for pre-emergence weed control
Atratec is the most cost effective herbicide for use in maize and sweetcorn crops. It can be used either pre or post crop emergence providing a large window of application. Atratec combines well with most other specific maize and sweetcorn herbicides.
Application
Atratec is mixed with Maize Guard and other herbicides in maize and sweetcorn crops, Pasture Guard MCPA 750 in Linseed crops and Parable (Paraquat) in established Lucerne crops. As the weed spectrum is large and rates do vary for specific crops.
Always refer to the label for application rate details.
Atratec is absorbed through leaves and roots to provide knockdown and residual action. It inhibits photosynthesis with symptoms of yellowing and then death. For the best results ensure that the soil surface is moist and clod free.

Shelf life
When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture. Please contact your Ravensdown Account Manager, or the Customer Centre on 0800 100 123, for further information about the use of any product that is older than this.
Atratec mixes readily with water. Pour the correct quantity into the partially filled (50%) spray tank with agitation running, and then add the remaining water with agitation. The spray mixture must be kept agitated before and during spraying and before spraying after a stoppage. Unused spray mixture may settle out overnight.
Note: When using Atratec in mixtures with other herbicides ALWAYS add the Atratec to the tank first and mix as directed, then add the partner product with agitation to the almost full spray tank.
Atratec is compatible with most other commonly used herbicides and insecticides.
