How Long Eradicate is rapidly absorbed into the foliage of treated plants and is translocated to the growng points in roots and foliage, where it rapidly causes cell division to stop. Treated plants slowly lose vigour and die.
|
| Plant back withholding |
Plant Withholding Re establishment of pasture – Eradicate 600 is extremely damaging to ryegrass and clover. Soil residues may also prevent quick re-establishment of ryegrass and clover following application. A minimum of 3 months is recommended before attempting to over sow. It is also recommended that a small area be sown first to check for any residues. The persistency will vary depending on the dose rate, soil type and rainfall
|
| Stock withholding |
Stock Withholding Do not graze treated area with dairy cows within 3 days of application or 1 day with other stock. After spraying ragwort, plants become palatable to stock, so do not allow stock into sprayed areas until plants have died.

| Barriers to effectiveness |
