Plant Withholding Plant back
Trifluralin has a residual soil activity for up to 6-8 months. *Do not* sow sensitive crops within this time unless it has been demonstrated it is safe to do so. After prolonged wet, cold or dry conditions breakdown of Triflow can be inhibited and certain subsequent crops are susceptible to injury when planted into soil previously treated with Triflow.
It is advised not to sow sensitive crops such as Ryegrass or Wheat for up to 12 months following application. Deep ploughing and thorough cross cultivation will help disperse any remaining residues.
Stock
There is no grazing withholding period on the label. Be aware of any poisonous plants that may become more palatable to stock.

Provides pre-emergence weed control in brassicas, vegetable crops, lucerne and certain other crops
Controls both broadleaf and grass weeds
Long lasting activity and a broad weed spectrum
It is always best to control weeds before they establish in specific crops. There are very limited options for post - emergence weed control in brassica's and what is available can be very expensive as well as having long residual periods for planting other crops.
Triflow is a very cost - effective option, with a very large weed spectrum which suits most areas and soil types.
Application
Rates vary across different crops and weed species, at all times you should refer to the product label.
Triflow should be applied to the prepared seedbed and applied professionally and uniformly to the seedbed ensuring accurate spray coverage. Triflow should be applied with 100 - 400 Litres of water / ha.
Triflow is affected by ultra violet light so incorporation must take place definitely within eight hours and ideally immediately.
Absorbed by emerging roots of susceptible species as seedlings germinate.
Keep out of reach of children
Store in accordance with NZS 8409 Management of Agrichemicals
Store in original container tightly closed in a locked, dry, cool area away from foodstuffs, fertilizers and seeds
Please refer to the product label for product handling and storage details.

Triflow needs to be incorporated (mixed) into the soil prior to planting. This procedure must be done correctly in order to get Triflow to work at its best.
Refer to the product label for incorporation details.
It is unusual to combine Triflow with other chemicals however it has been proven fully compatible with the herbicide Frontier.
