Free-flow water-soluble multi-mineral trace element mix, containing copper, cobalt, selenium, iodine and zinc.
The copper is in a chelated form so is designed to be administered in conjunction with zinc for facial eczema prevention
Easily dissolved, so is suitable for the supplementation of dairy cows via addition to the drinking water, oral daily drenching, or addition to supplementary feed
Also suitable where it is desirable to avoid the use of copper sulphate through in-line dispensers
Application
DCM™Gold is designed to be administered to cows via medication of the drinking water (eg through in-line or trough dispensers), daily oral drenching or via addition to supplementary feed. The dose rate is 5g/cow/day which will provide each cow with the following:
Copper - 150mg elemental copper (as copper amino acid chelate)
Cobalt - 10mg elemental cobalt (as cobalt sulphate)
Selenium - 5mg elemental selenium (as sodium selenate)
Iodine - 20mg elemental iodine (as EDDI)
Zinc - 600mg elemental zinc (as zinc sulphate monohydrate)
Sodium - 1g sodium (as salt)
DCM™ Gold is totally soluble in water so can be administered through the drinking water
Storage and handling
Store in a cool, dry covered facility, and ensure that the bag is closed properly after use. It is important to keep bags dry to prevent absorption of water by the product. Dust masks and eye protection are recommended when handling product if excessive dust is present.
