| Barriers to effectiveness |
Barriers Resistance can develop to any anthelmintic and there are some reported cases of resistance to double combinations in sheep parasites in NZ. Check the effectiveness of anthelmintics at least annually (but preferably 3-4 times/year) by faecal egg counting 10 days after drenching, and preferably immediately pre-drenching as well. Follow current recommended parasite management practices to reduce the potential for resistance to develop. It is advisable that a drench resistance test is conducted.

Mineralised double combination (white and clear) oral drench
Also contains praziquantel for specific tapeworm control
Effective against all adult and immature roundworm (including strains that are resistant to either the benzimidazole family or levamisole), lungworm, tapeworm and adult liver fluke
Application
Administer orally at 1mL per 5kg live-weight.
Capability and precautions
Do not exceed the stated dose volume or frequency
Doses of 3 or more times those recommended can cause symptoms of Levamisole toxicity, so estimate liveweights carefully. Dehydrated animals may be more susceptible to toxicity
Fatal interactions may occur between levamisole and organophosphate dips
Do not use at the same time as any other selenised fertiliser, prill or product without consulting a veterinarian
In sheep, liver levels of copper may be quite variable. Consequently, there is always a risk of copper poisoning (deaths) occurring following copper supplementation in this species
Storage and handling
Store in the original container, tightly closed in a cool, dry and locked place away from direct sunlight. Store below 30oC (room temperature).
Shelf life
3 years from date of manufacture.
