A non-irritating chlorhexidine-based teat spray for application onto the teats of lactating dairy cows after milking to assist in reducing the incidence of mastitis
Also assists in the healing of cracked and chapped teats
Will not taint or leave detectable residues in milk or milk products
Application
Dilute one part of Chlorhex Teat Safe® to four parts of clean water, which will provide a solution containing 4.5g/L chlorhexidine and 100g/L emollient.
Apply sufficient Chlorhex Teat Safe® solution in a fine spray immediately after milking so it completely covers the teat surface and forms a droplet at the end of each teat.
Storage and Handling
Store in original container, tightly closed, in cool, dry conditions. Protect from light. Avoid temperatures below 0oC and above 30oC.
