Physical Description Potash Super is a blend of Superphosphate and Potassium Chloride. It varies from 5% K (10% Potash Super) to 25% K (50% Potash Super). The Superphosphate component varies in colour from brown to dark grey granules while the colour of Potassium Chloride can range from red-pink to white to grey. |

Conditions For Mixing Although Potash Super generally mixes well with other products, it is not compatible with the following: Potassium Nitrate, Ammonium Nitrate, Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP), Cropmaster DAP, Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) or Urea Potash Super can be compatible with the following under certain circumstances: Flexi-N (magnesium coated Urea) and Ammonium Sulphate Granular Segregation may occur when mixed with product with differences of particle size. Potash Super provides a readily available source of phosphorous, sulphur and potassium. There are other variations available, such as Potash Sulphur Super and Potash Serpentine Super.
Uses
Potash Super is typically applied as a base dressing or as a maintenance dressing. Due to the range of differing ratios of Superphosphate and Potassium Chloride in these mixes, it is easy to select the right product for most situations.
Application rates and advice
Spreading rates for Potash Super vary greatly, but it is not recommended to be spread at rates of over 1 tonne/ha. Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type. Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate. As with most solid fertilisers, 10% Potash Super can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.
