Physical description
Potash Serpentine Super is a blend of Serpentine Super and Potassium Chloride.  It varies from 7.5% K (15% Potash Serpentine Super) to 15% K (30% Potash Serpentine Super).  The colour of this fertiliser can vary, depending on the source of the components.​

Cautions for mixing
Although Potash Serpentine Super generally mixes well with other products, it is not compatible with the following:

Potassium Nitrate, Ammonium Nitrate, Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP), Cropmaster DAP, Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) or Urea

Potash Serpentine Super can be compatible with the following under certain circumstances:

Flexi-N (magnesium coated Urea) and Ammonium Sulphate Granular

Segregation may occur when mixed with product with differences of particle size.

Although the phosphate content of this fertiliser is lower than that of Potash Super, this fertiliser is valuable in areas where a magnesium deficiency is suspected or may occur.​

Uses

This fertiliser provides phosphate, potassium, sulphate and magnesium for pasture production on soils deficient in these nutrients. It is a good general fertiliser that can be used when sowing new pastures.

Application rates and advice

Typical application rates for Potash Serpentine Super on pasture and crops are 375kg/ha. Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type.  Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate.  Call our Customer Centre for information.

Clean equipment after use to avoid corrosion.

As with most solid fertilisers, Potash Serpentine Super can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.
