Contains the essential trace elements for healthy lucerne production
Replaces some of the nutrients, as well as supplying some of the sulphur in the elemental form
Use only once every 2-3 years, to ensure there is no oversupply of trace elements to the lucerne crop
Lucerne Mix + TE is used in relation to the harvesting of Lucerne. This is because harvesting results in the removal of large quantities of nutrient, with potassium removals being greatest. Lucerne Mix + TE helps to replace some of the removed nutrients, as well as supplying some of the sulphur in the elemental form.
Uses
Lucerne Mix + TE contains the essential trace elements for healthy lucerne production. However it is important to note that in many instances these trace elements do not need to be applied annually as this will depend on the soil type and local climatic conditions. If the trace elements are not required, then these can be left out.
Application rates and advice
Lucerne Mix + TE is typically applied at 250kg/ha, as required. At this rate, 6.25kg Borate 46 and 125g sodium molybdate are applied. Use only once every 2-3 years, to ensure there is no oversupply of trace elements to the lucerne crop.
Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type. Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate. Call our Customer Centre for information.
As with most solid fertilisers, Lucerne Mix + TE can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.
