Used for pastoral maintenance or development, particularly with a potential low N status
Ideal for forage cropping, arable or horticultural situations where immediate responses are required
Especially designed for pumice soils needing potassium and extra sulphur
Most nutrients are readily soluble, therefore available for immediate plant response
Super Mag N Pumice is a multi nutrient fertiliser which suits many different land uses, especially where 6 of the major nutrients are required. All the components have readily soluble nutrients, except for the small amount of elemental S and some of the Mg in the serpentine super, available for immediate plant response. On pastoral soils, particularly in dairying, these products are ideally suited for applying maintenance P, K, S, Mg etc. and where a boost in growth is required on the shoulders of the season from the N component.
Uses
Super Mag N is a mixture of serpentine super, sulphur super, potassium chloride and urea and contains soluble phosphate, sulphate sulphur, magnesium and calcium as well as potassium and nitrogen. It can be used for pastoral maintenance or development, particularly where N status of the soil is expected to be low. It is ideal for forage cropping, arable or horticultural situations where immediate responses are required, but should not be sown in contact with seed.
Application rates and advice
Spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type. Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate. Call our Customer Centre for information.
Unlike most superphosphate based fertilisers, Super Mag N Pumice is not stable and should be applied as soon as practical after mixing at the store.
