Excellent multi nutrient fertiliser which suits many different pastoral land uses
Especially useful where a higher ratio of P to S is required
Suits infrequent application or soils with low ASC in high rainfall areas
TSP sulphur super is an excellent multi nutrient fertiliser which suits many different pastoral land uses. It is especially useful where a higher ratio of P to S is required. Elemental S is slow release sulphur as it requires the action of Thiobacillus bacteria in the soil to convert the elemental S to sulphate S, thus suits infrequent application or soils with low ASC in high rainfall environments.
Uses
TSP sulphur super contains more soluble phosphate, calcium but less elemental sulphur and sulphate sulphur than sulphur super 30 and is a suitable fertiliser for capital or maintenance applications. It is most suited to hill and high country farms on sedimentary soils which require higher P inputs and where either sulphate leaching is high or fertiliser application occurs on 2-3 yearly intervals rather than annually. TSP sulphur super is also applicable for pumice and peat soils.
Application rates and advice
Spreading rates for TSP sulphur super vary greatly mostly depending on P and S requirement, but it is not recommended to be spread at rates of over 1 tonne/ha. Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type. Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate. Call our Customer Centre for information.
As with most solid fertilisers, TSP sulphur super can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.
