Mono Ammonium Phosphate (Tech) is a prill or crystalline product that is very water soluble, up to 200kgs per 100 ltrs of water, so is ideal for use through irrigation and can be applied direct to the foliage as foliar solution.​

Provides phosphorous which is the energy nutrient of cells, important at cell division and has a role in the maturity of crops.  Also provides nitrogen which is essential for many plant processes but especially in amino acid and protein formation, chlorophyll production and vegetative growth.​

Mono Ammonium Phosphate (Tech) supplies plant essential nitrogen and phosphorous in a ready plant available form.  It is of a technical grade, meaning it can be readily dissolved in water.
 

Application rates and advice

Mono Ammonium Phosphate (Tech)  is used as a foliar spray on crops early during cell division and also during times of stress to provide valuable energy to the plant. It is used extensively in the fertigation of many indoor and outdoor crops to provide nitrogen and phosphorous.

Actual application  rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity, soil type and crop type.  Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate.  Call our Customer Centre for information.

Whilst Mono Ammonium Phosphate (Tech)  is not classified as a dangerous good,  with intimate handling of this product due to its specific uses, the user should take extra precautions in the form of a dust mask, gloves and goggles when making up the product.

As with most solid fertilisers, can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Store bags in a dry place ensuring they are tightly sealed.
