Granular Ammonium Sulphate is available as either granular or standard grade. It ranges in colour from white to brown.

Caution when mixing
Although Granular Ammonium Sulphate generally mixes well with other products, it is not compatible with the following:
Magnesium OxideGranular Ammonium Sulphate can be compatible with the following under certain circumstances:
Superphosphate, Sulphur Super 30 and Dry Lime.Segregation may occur when mixed with product with differences of particle size.
Flexi-N (magnesium coated Urea) can be used as a substitute when mixing with Superphosphate based products

Uses
Ammonium Sulphate will meet short term sulphur deficits of crops and pastures, crop quality requirements, or the maintenance sulphur requirements of pasture.
Ammonium Sulphate Granular is reccommended for Arable and cropping situations, silo fills and drilling seed. It is used in Cropmaster, Ammo 31 and Ammo 36 blends.
Ammonium Sulphate Standard is recommended for Pastoral blends and broadcasting. -
Application and storage
Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type. Soil testing and fertiliser plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate. Call our Customer Centre for information.
Volatilisation of ammonia from Ammonium Sulphate is very low compared to Urea, therefore the timing of the applications is flexible.
Clean equipment after use to avoid corrosion. As with most solid fertilisers, Ammonium Sulphate can be stored over a season as long as it is kept in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.
