What is the NZFAP Programme about?

The New Zealand Farm Assurance Programme provides confidence and certainty to consumers that meat and wool produced here in New Zealand is authentic, genuine and of course safe. Ravensdown Environmental are now an associate member of the NZFAP Plus Farm Assurance Programme. We are working with proactive farmers to help them gain the NZFAP Plus accreditation.

What does gaining the NZFAP Plus accreditation mean for you?

• As an industry standard, some meat and wool processors offer premiums on your product.
• The accreditation covers a number of meat and wool processors and for that reason you will only need one audit for multiple processors, which will save you time and money

Farm Maps and Records utilising Hawkeye to store your farm records and for a one off very competitive price our inhouse GIS Mapping Team can produce the multitude of maps you need.

Waterway Ecosystem Health Assessment we have staff able to utilise NIWA’s Stream Health Monitoring and Assessment Kit (SHMAK) to carry out a stream assessment.

Nutrient Management and Soil Health we can complete OverseerFM nutrient budgets, assess soil health via the visual soil assessment method and collaborate with our field team to provide you with soil test data, fertiliser recommendations and application records.

Greenhouse Gases and Climate Change calculate your emissions using OverseerFM or other calculation tools. We can also estimate sequestration and develop GHG Management Plans.
