Director Elections 2025 – South Island Area election 

Voting is now OPEN for the election of one director for the South Island Area. 

Three candidates are standing for election: 

  • Nicky Hyslop
  • Rebecca Keoghan
  • Jane Smith

How to vote in the director election 


Voting packs were sent to all transacting shareholders in the South Island on 27 August 2025.  These packs, sent by electionz.com, contain a printed voting paper, a booklet with candidate profiles and a prepaid envelope.  


Shareholders can either: 

  • complete the printed voting form and post it using the prepaid envelope; or 
  • vote online using the PIN and password set out on the voting form. 


When voting online for the director election transacting shareholders will also be given the opportunity to vote for the annual meeting resolutions. 

Voting for the South Island Area Director Election closes at 12 noon on Tuesday 23 September 2025 and results will be posted on the Ravensdown website that afternoon, with the successful candidate taking office at the Annual Meeting on Thursday 25 September 2025.

Ravensdown has appointed Anthony Morton of electionz.com as the Returning Officer for the 2024 Director Elections.

2025 Annual Meeting 


Ravensdown will be holding its 47th Annual Meeting at 1.00pm on Thursday 25 September 2025. Shareholders can attend the meeting in person at Ravensdown’s offices at 292 Main South Road, Hornby, Christchurch or join online via Zoom.

The Notice of Meeting was sent to all shareholders on 27 August 2025. 

At the meeting the board will be asking shareholders to vote on two resolutions. The proposed resolutions include the standard resolution for the auditors’ remuneration and a resolution to make some changes to the constitution which relate to the director elections.

How to vote on resolutions

If shareholders cannot attend the meeting in person or online, they have the opportunity to vote in advance on the proposed resolutions using electionz.com’s online platform.  The PIN and password details required to vote online have been sent to transacting shareholders by electionz.com with the Notice of Meeting.  

Shareholders also have the opportunity to appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf.

Voting on the annual meeting resolutions closes at 1pm on Thursday 25 September 2025. 

To RSVP to the annual meeting shareholders should use the RSVP link in the Notice of Meeting.
