Director candidate presentation in 2026
In addition to a compulsory candidate profile statement, candidates have the option of preparing a video statement and undergoing a review by independent governance consultants, Propero.
Where a candidate opts for the Propero review, they will be contacted by Propero shortly after their nomination is confirmed by Ravensdown. Propero will review each candidate and prepare a one-page summary of key skills and experience related to their governance attributes.
Propero will also provide commentary and a number scale indication on a candidate’s aptitude in the relevant governance attributes to allow comparison between candidates.
Where a candidate opts to prepare a video, a Ravensdown representative will be in contact with them to set up a time to record the video via the Microsoft Teams platform. The video can be up to three minutes long.
