Director Elections
Nominations for the 2026 Ravensdown Director elections are open from 29 June until Friday 24 July 2026 at 5pm.
A Director Election Notice will appear in the Farmers Weekly in the 29 June issue.
Shareholders have the opportunity to nominate and elect two directors to the Ravensdown Board.
Ravensdown’s shareholder-elected directors are elected to represent all of the company’s shareholders across New Zealand (formerly directors represented North Island and South Island Areas).
Mike Davey and Jane Montgomery are the incumbent directors retiring by rotation this year. Both directors have indicated that they intend to stand for re-election.
If an election is required, voting will open on Wednesday 26 August and close at 12 noon on Wednesday 22 September.
The results of any Director Elections will be posted on the Ravensdown website on Tuesday 22 September (after 2pm), with successful candidates taking office at the Annual Meeting on Thursday 24 September.

Director candidate presentation in 2026
In addition to a compulsory candidate profile statement, candidates have the option of preparing a video statement and undergoing a review by independent governance consultants, Propero.
Where a candidate opts for the Propero review, they will be contacted by Propero shortly after their nomination is confirmed by Ravensdown. Propero will review each candidate and prepare a one-page summary of key skills and experience related to their governance attributes.
Propero will also provide commentary and a number scale indication on a candidate’s aptitude in the relevant governance attributes to allow comparison between candidates.
Where a candidate opts to prepare a video, a Ravensdown representative will be in contact with them to set up a time to record the video via the Microsoft Teams platform. The video can be up to three minutes long.
Full details are provided in the 2026 Director Elections Candidate Information Handbook.
