Sustainability at Ravensdown
Manaaki whenua, manaaki

If we care for the land, if we care for the
people, we will take care of the future.
Our sustainability pillars
Our four focus areas guide what we do. Here’s what that looks like in practice:
Climate responsibility
We’re focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and supply chain.
We do this by setting science-aligned targets, working with partners to develop new solutions and being transparent about how we’re tracking by using recognised global frameworks.
Environmental care
We aim to have a positive impact on nature and the communities we work alongside.
That means focusing on nutrient stewardship, supporting biodiversity, and improving water quality through practical tools and strong partnerships.
Farm excellence
Farm Excellence is about working alongside farmers to adopt innovative solutions suited to NZ conditions, that lift productivity and reduce environmental impact.
How we’re tracking
Leading from the front, staying accountable, and doing what’s right for our
shareholders, our business, and the land we work with.
By 2025, Ravensdown had reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 41% and Scope 3 emissions by 36% compared to 2018 levels, keeping us on track for our 2030 and 2035 targets.
Sustainability in action
