Lend a Hand. Make a Difference.

At Ravensdown, we’re proud to be part of the communities we work in and we believe in giving back.

That’s why every team member has the option of an extra day of paid leave each year to support a community project they care about. It’s a simple way to make a meaningful difference, close to home.

Our commitment to people and communities goes hand in hand. We’re investing in employee engagement, with a clear goal of achieving 67% or higher employee engagement by 2030, because when our people feel connected, everyone benefits.

Lend a hand day on the Lyttelton Port Saddle

One great example is a recent Lend a Hand Day, where Christchurch-based staff supported restoration work on the Lyttelton Port Saddle.

Working alongside our supply partner Lyttelton Port Company and the Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust, the team contributed to an important ecological restoration project just minutes from the city.

Staff rolled up their sleeves to tackle weeding, mulching and pest control, all while enjoying sweeping views across Lyttelton township, the harbour and Whakaraupō Heads.

It’s hands-on work with real impact and a powerful reminder that when we lend a hand together, we help create stronger communities and healthier environments.
